The Victorian Caravan, Camping and Tourism Supershow is on again this weekend! The show has been running for over 65 years. Every year, it brings together Victoria’s RV community. Starting on Wednesday, the show will run through until Sunday, with demonstrations, shows and a world of motorhome conversion ideas.
The Caravan Trade & Industries Association of Victoria, who run the show, are offering prizes and entertainment at this year’s supershow. This includes their first ever Twilight Night! To the tunes of Joe Camilleri & the Black Sorrows, visitors will be able to enter competitions, explore the latest in RV refurbishment and design, peruse new and functional caravan accessories, and get inspired for their next motorhome conversion at RoadTrek!
Why We’re Looking Forward to the Caravan Supershow
Victoria produces over 80% of Australia’s RVs, so this trade show is naturally one of the nation’s biggest. And as such, it is offering an impressive prize: a 2018 Jayco campervan.
Every day amongst the stalls, there will also be a food and wine section. Take a break from one of the many industry stands and enjoy a beverage or two.
Campervans promise to be a major feature at this year’s show, with CIAVic’s Facebook page making explicit mention of the huge range of swags, rooftoppers, tents and campervan accessories on display.
Like any expo, there will be talks and shows. We’re looking forward to hearing more from Dr Katrina about travelling with pets.
The show is a great opportunity to meet some nomads, and the caravan workshops are always worth attending.
This is CIAVic’s first of four shows this year. We’ll be sure to cover the others, and we might even see you at one or two, or all four! For all your caravan, campervan, bus and motorhome news, including tips and conversions, visit RoadTrek today.
